As part of its primary commitment to support student work, and especially to create and foster opportunities for students to develop professional experience and contacts within their fields, the University of Texas Documentary Center offered four scholarships in its third year of operations. Three of the scholarships were funded by the general operating budget of the UT Documentary Center. An additional $1500 scholarship was made possible because of a generous donation from Professor Emeritus Dina M Sherzer. We congratulate the awardees and we look forward to expanding these opportunities so that more of our deserving students may benefit in the future.

Two of the scholarships supported MFA student Russell Bush and Senior Neil Dave in professional internships at ITVS in San Francisco, California. For further information on the awardees click here.
