Synopsis:
In an effort to conquer her fear of cockroaches, the filmmaker undergoes exposure treatment and visits various Texas roach enthusiasts, to see what makes one person’s phobia another person’s passion. TRT = 14 min.

Director bio:
Ruth Fertig is a documentary filmmaker whose work gives voice to ordinary people with extraordinary stories. She is currently working towards her MFA in film and video production at the University of Texas. She was previously an associate producer and researcher on documentaries that have aired on ABC, A&E, FX, VH1, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel and the Disney Channel.
