Dennis Darling, Professor
Dennis Darling received his MFA in 1972 from the Art Institute in Chicago, and returned as a Visiting Artist 1989-1990. During his career, Dennis has served as the Chairman of Photography for both the Portfolio Center and Art Institute of Atlanta and has conducted numerous visual arts workshops across the country. His works have been displayed in over 150 Juried Exhibitions and include showings at the Royal Photographic Society in London, The Art Institute of Chicago, and The Austin Museum of Art. In addition, his work has appeared in several nationally recognized publications including: Communication Arts Magazine, Fortune, Texas Monthly, People, American Photographer, Photo Graphics (Swiss), Discovery, and The Washington Post. Since 1981 Dennis has been a Professor in the School of Journalism at the University of Texas at Austin.
