THE DRESSMAKERS, a feature-length documentary directed by RTF MFA Alum Shara Lange, contrasts the slow pace of artisanal clothes-making with the fast pace of the competitive textiles industry in Morocco, inviting a re-examination of the values represented by the clothing that people wear. Production began in Casablanca and Tangier, Morocco in 2008. They will soon begin editing and are currently raising funding for post-production.
