The hard-hitting and acclaimed documentary Trouble the Water picked up this year’s Grand Jury Prize for Documentary at Sundance.
PJ Raval, a talented filmmaker and alum of UT, worked on this film as cinematographer along with Kimberly Rivers Roberts.

Austin, TX - KLRU-TV, Austin PBS, seeks submissions for the Emmy-Award-wining community journalism series Docubloggers on the topic “Reflections on Life in Central Texas” for a special contest.
Length: Videos should be between 30 seconds and five minutes in length.
Due Date: Videos must be received by February 15, 2008.

LUMIX Festival to take place June 18th to June 21st in Hanover, Germany.
Every participating university may submit a maximum of three reportages. Professional photojournalists not older than 35 years may also apply individually for one of the 60 exhibition spaces.
Closing date for application is February 28, 2008.
